Our Mission
Be a leader for access and delivery of quality and compassionate women’s health care, actively collaborating with trusted partners to ensure the patient’s optimal health and welfare is achieved.
Our History
Women’s Specialty Care began in 2001, with founding doctors Warren Volker and Tammy Kelly. The two had met as faculty members at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, and their shared philosophy of evidence-based medicine with a focus on personalized patient care inspired them to begin the practice together.
Originally, the practice was called Women’s Health Specialists, operating as part of the University system. The two doctors took the practice private in 2002, and renamed it “Women’s Specialty Care.”
By 2004, the practice expanded to a second location, and Drs. Volker and Kelly began to partner with additional like-minded physicians. Drs. Steve Harter and Keith Brill joined in 2003, with Drs. Joyce Ivie and Amit Garg coming aboard in 2006.
Women’s Specialty Care, (WSC) quickly grew to be the largest and much respected women’s health care private practice in Nevada.
Today WSC has 8 locations; with its growth WSC has a dedicated team of professionals that are committed to our patient’s health and satisfaction. Our staff actively gives back to the community that trusts us with their health and wellness.
Our Vision
For Women’s Specialty Care to be recognized as a major contributor and model for the continued improvement of women’s health on an individual, local, and global level.
