This year 5 volunteers from Women’s Specialty Care, of Las Vegas Nevada joined IAM annual medical team. After traveling to Haiti for the first time last year, I, Tina Phyfer, returned home determined and committed to return to Haiti next year (2011) with more help. The start cannon of the 2010 Ford Ironman World Championship sounded on October 9th at 6:30 am and approximately 1,800 athletes braved the harsh elements of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, in an attempt to earn the title of "Ironman".
